Mentalism: when the magician is also an expert in psychology!

Thanks to the coronavirus, we find ourselves confined at home. We're navigating uncharted territory, caught between remote work, daily chores, and the kids’ homework. To stay on course, what we really need is a magic formula!
For my part, I’m using this period of isolation to exercise my brain even more. It’s all about quick Rubik’s Cube solutions and improbable mental calculations!
And yes, you guessed it: my work as a mentalist requires me to boost my memory and constantly train my mental abilities. Mentalism is above all a matter of unlocking brain potential that’s just waiting to be developed.

Because mentalism relies on a blend of tricks, illusions, suggestions, and psychology, it also requires a keen sense of observation and deduction. Add to that a smooth talker’s charm, and you’re sure to win over the audience.
Indeed, mentalism as stage entertainment never fails to fascinate: who hasn’t dreamed of communicating through thought or decoding someone’s behavior? This technique challenges the limits of our mind and how it can be manipulated.
This art form, which draws from both science and illusion, takes us to the edge of the mysterious.

As a professional mentalist based in the Annecy region for over 10 years, I would say that a mentalist aims to create the illusion of paranormal abilities. Mental manipulation, the art of staging, knowledge of body language, memorization techniques, and a keen sense of observation — I’ve lost count of the hours of work and training!
Influenced by the greats (Theodore Annemann, Viktor Vincent, and Derren Brown, to name a few), my main focus is to ensure the audience experiences something unusual, memorable, and above all, positive.
Whether at corporate events, weddings, or private celebrations, I love revealing the possibilities and resources of the human brain: telekinesis, mind reading, metal bending, and cold reading promise intense moments of emotion and wonder.
