How a performance works
Running time
Two hours for a close-up set at a cocktail reception. Twenty to sixty minutes for a stage set. The two combine regularly within a single evening: a show at a set point in the running order, then table-to-table work over dinner.
Audience size
From ten to a thousand. Close-up mentalism suits small gatherings as well as large receptions, since it moves from one group to the next. A stage set calls for an audience size and a room layout agreed in advance.
Technical requirements
The close-up format needs no set-up at all. A stage set requires an open space, a sound system and lighting, with the detail settled according to the venue.
Lead time
A standard booking comes together quickly. A prediction built around your event requires design time, to be allowed for when booking.
Languages
French and English. English-language performances are frequent, particularly in the mountain resorts and at international corporate events.
