In music, a ‘cover’ is a reinterpretation of a song—in magic, it’s the same! Mr. Covert takes some classic magic tricks and revisits them with a modern twist (he also presents his own creations)… And with a ‘t,’ you’ve got to admit, it just sounds more English!

DHis real name is Jean-Marie Meo, but Harry Covert is a self-taught artist who has been passionate about magic since childhood.
At the age of 6, he learned his first card, coin, and rope tricks, which he eagerly performed for family and friends. By 16, he was working as an entertainer at holiday centers and summer camps, where he loved presenting his magic shows.
At 19, while working at a winter sports resort, he discovered street and stage magic. During this period, he created shows throughout the resort, winning over every audience.
After seven years in the tourism industry, he moved to Denmark and met some of the country’s top magicians, assisting them behind the scenes for several months.
In 2010, he decided to take the leap and become a professional magician.
Between 2015 and 2017, he studied at the National Circus Arts Center in Châlons-en-Champagne, immersing himself in the world of ‘Magie Nouvelle.’
Also in 2015, he won first prize in close-up magic at the Bourg-de-Péage Magic Festival.
In 2018, 2020, and 2021, he received the WEDDING AWARD on Mariages.net, the most prestigious award in the wedding industry.
Between 2020 and 2024, he trained in stage hypnosis, inviting audiences to journey through the most fantastical and whimsical worlds.
Since 2022, he has been a volunteer magician at the public hospital in Annecy and participates monthly with the Magie à l’Hôpital association.
In 2025, he served as magic coach for the show ‘Mickey et le Magicien’ at Disneyland Paris.
