It’s not so much the reveal of the trick or the search for proof that fascinates us in magic. Besides, we know that a good magician never reveals their secrets! Sometimes, those secrets are so simple that you might be disappointed to learn them! Misdirection, influence techniques, and sleight of hand are at play, as you might expect. What truly matters is the incredible and captivating effect the magician creates for the audience. In fact, the trick alone would never be enough.
Magic: a story of fascination
In the alchemy of a great performance, the magician’s personality remains the key ingredient. Aren’t the illusionists who amaze us the most those who radiate a mystical aura? A natural talent for staging themselves and creating an atmosphere? A spontaneous sense of humor?
My first encounter with a magician was a defining moment—I was only six years old. The illusionist, besides being an excellent speaker, perfectly mastered theatrical gestures that enchanted the audience. So caught up in the tension of the show, I pulled so hard on my baby tooth that it came out in my fingers.
Today, whenever I perform in front of an audience, I reconnect with that pure childhood wonder that has stayed with me ever since.
A funny and astonishing magic
Sharing with the audience the astonishment, emotion, enthusiasm, and laughter — that’s what drives me. The craft is demanding; it requires long training and constant practice. A quirky and playful magician, I stand somewhere between a comedian and an actor.
Taking the audience into my world and helping them escape reality is what motivates me most in my art. Participatory magic is the one I cherish, as it sparks reactions and brings together all generations. Whether close-up or on stage, I aim to challenge the perception of reality and lead the audience beyond their usual boundaries.
When spectators put down their smartphones to be captivated by the performance, when they engage with each other and question what they see, when faces light up and laughter bursts out — that’s when I know the magic has worked.
To awaken curiosity and offer a moment of wonder — isn’t that ultimately the true power of magic?
